Thank you for your interest in The Omega Institute. It is our desire to be a resource in coming alongside our local churches here on Long Island and across the United States. The Omega Institute is a Christian ministry whose sole purpose is to provide unique training and educational materials for believers of all ages. We are not a church nor are we attempting to replace the local ministry of the church. The Omega Institute is a Para-church ministry. Our goal is to come alongside the local church and assist it's ministry in  ways that a local church may not be equipped to do.

The Omega Institute believes in the local church. We thank God for every Bible-believing congregation around the world that promotes the Name and the glory and the truth of Jesus Christ and we believe it is The Omega Institute's mission to provide the kinds of educational materials and live events by which every person in the pew, every person behind the pulpit, and every child in the Sunday school may achieve four goals that we believe are critical for spiritual growth.

These four goals are represented by the acronym D.E.A.R.  We want to make the Word of God "DEAR" to all believers.

Our first goal is to De-mystify the Word of God through solid expository teaching.  Understanding the Bible is critical. It is a rich source of God's revelation to us. There are aspects of the Bible that are very easy and straight-forward to understand but as the Bible itself reminds us; we need to be able to be diligent to study the word because there are also things that are difficult to understand. The entire Bible is pertinent to our life and to our salvation and eternity. At Omega we know that the person who is willing to work to mine the deep truths of God's word also needs the finest resources available to be able to get that truth out of the Word of God. All the materials and teaching events we produce at Omega are designed with a unique learning system underlying them. These learning systems are unique ways in which we employ to help the believer to get inside the word of God and to understand it in depth without being intimidated or confused by it.

Secondly, we seek to Excite you to renewed enthusiasm for Bible truth. We like to place into the hands of our hearers the gift of excitement. So many believers today are at such a disadvantage of not knowing the 2000+ year history of Christianity. There are so many great stories, great biographies and great events of what God has done through men and women and miraculous events in the last 2000 years that give us rich life lessons to help us understand the faithfulness of God and yet history is either seen as boring, inaccessible or mysterious. At The Omega Institute we get people excited about things they never thought they would ever be excited about!

By showing you how these truths are relevant and Apply to your life today we seek to make the Word alive. Nothing is worse than trying to learn and then remember a subject we feel we'll have no use for or that does not have any bearing on our life. Sadly, the Bible is too often seen in this light even by believers living in our so-called "modern" high-tech society. But this is not so,— what we all need is to have the Scriptures opened up to us in new a fresh ways. The deep issues of life which are pertinent to all men everywhere are what the Scriptures seek to address. In this busy world we often lose perspective on them. The Omega Institute exists to make God's Word real and relevant. That's why we say we bring "Real Truth for Real Life"!

And lastly, we desire that by our unique teaching methods you will Retain what you learn like never before. Have you noticed that people have a way of memorizing silly lyrics to songs from the time they are young but can't remember Bible verses? We want to capture that dynamic and apply it to the Word of God. When materials are presented in ways that are user-friendly, easily understood and exciting, it burns into the memory. When we hear the word of God and have it explained to us over and over again in a means that is approachable, is pleasant to our emotions and pleasant to our soul, those truths will stay with us. We believe it is our mission, our goal and our privilege to take that which is difficult to understand and bring it to the common person's level so that they can understand it in its clarity, its depth, its application to their life, and in a way that will find a solid place in their memory of Scripture truth.

We believe these four goals will set the believer on fire to be a witness in the world for Jesus Christ. We want the believer to understand the deep truths of God so they would not be afraid or confused. We want the believer to get excited about God and His word so that they would be motivated to live for Him and seek Him more perfectly. We want the believer to apply what they learn to their life and the situations they find God has divinely placed them in. And we want the believer to retain those truths so that as they hide them in their hearts, they would not sin against God and find new power to apply the things God is teaching them.

If you can understand, find new excitement and enthusiasm, and retain these eternal truths then we will all play a part in raising up a new generation of Christians who are on fire for Jesus Christ and go into the world and speak those life-changing truths with power and conviction.
